Mother's Day

I couldn't have asked for a better day! First, the best Mother's day gift of all is that we have Johnathan! Dad and Johnathan have made a weekend of Mother's Day and spoiled Mom. We had our first day out on Saturday venturing the world with a visit to the paint store (exciting stuff...we had to get paint for the basement), Sonic to eat lunch, Lowe's so mom and dad could pick out a few new scrubs for the yard, dinner at Vickery Village and ice cream in the courtyard! Then, Sunday dad and Johnathan fixed breakfast for mom and gave her, her first mother's day gift. They gave her a card with Johnathan's first hand print in it. Yep, dad did this all on his own. It is by far the cutest and sweetest thing ever. The spa day inside the card was also sweet, but to have daddy help Johnathan make his first arts and crafts is priceless! A weekend filled with family time has been amazing! What a joy!
