Dave's parents were in town last week and brought a few surprises. We were showered with gifts for Baby "C". Clothes, blankets, car seats, bouncy seats, but nothing as special as the pram. Well, the bassinet we got is pretty special too, but the pram beats it all. This was what Det-Det (Dave's Mom) used in Jersey City with Dave when he was a baby. Living in a NE city, they walked everywhere. The pram was able to keep Dave warm, but also allowed enough room for him to play in and carry the shopping bags for the day. No, it's not the typical stroller to throw in the car and head to the mall, but should be just fine for us to walk to the pool with this summer. I will admit, I am a little nervous to use it. It is such a cool family heirloom that I am frightened something might happen to it. Maybe a stroll the park would be better.

A First
So, Dave's parents are in town this week. Dave, his dad and brother have been none stop finishing our basement. Not only have we had a stright truck full of supplies delivered by Home Depot, they have had to make numerous runs back to the Depot for last minute items. So at 8 pm last night they decide it's time to go to Home Depot again. Due to the "construction work" Dave and I really haven't had time to hold a conversation, so he ask me to join him....very romantic! Anyway, as we stroll through the Depot last night, I have my first Braxton Hicks contraction....at least I think that is what it was. I am walking down the aisle with drills, saws and nail guns as my stomach completely tightens and I freeze. Dave turns the corner, sees my face and is immediatly freaked out because he knows something isn't right. Dave grabs my hand and just said let's walk slow and see what happens. After about 2 minutes it goes away and everything is back to normal. I guess I can say we experienced just a very small episode of what is ahead of us!

7 months
I know, I am way behind on updating the blog. I promise I am going to start trying to do better. Anyway, here are a few shots of me at 7 months. I am now a few weeks past 7 months and seems like I am getting bigger by the hour! I will say this has been such a wonderful experience and I have enjoyed being pregnant. I can't really complain about much. Due to the limited space for our baby boy to play around in, it feels as if he is having a dance party 24/7. I have just recently started being awaken at odd times in the night due to his moving around. I think I will miss his parties once he is here, but I guess those will quickly be subbed in for feeding parties in his new room!
